Rainbow Zendangles
If you have followed the page for a while you know how much I LOVE dangles! They are fun, whimsical, and can go with any theme you like!
Today I wanted to make them into a fun rainbow zendangles rock.

Step by step instructions for this zendangle painted rock
You can grab the Posca pens that I used on this painted rock here.
Start by creating something for your dangles to hang from. This can be as simple as a line or wave at the top of your rock. You can make it thicker to add in more color at the end.
Add fun flourishes off the top and sides, there are endless options here!
Next, start adding your dangles. To get this fun rainbow effect, decide how many dangles you want to create for each color of the rainbow. I wanted 2 dangles for each color.
I decided to skip indigo for this project and just go with the classic 6. So I started spacing out for 12 dangles. Then just let the paint pen flow.
Start at the top and let them hang down. Add on any shapes you like! Dots, squares, triangles, diamonds, even suns, or flowers! Anything goes.
Once you have placed all your dangles you can start adding in your colors. Fill in anywhere you can.
If you want more color, add another area on your dangle!
When they are all filled in you can clean up any outer edges with black again and you’re done!
